Why TLM · Integrations

Your quality system,
connected.

TLM already runs on an integration framework — connecting a new system is a matter of a secure key, mapping your data, and routing it to the right module. Because you’re on your own server, integrations are built to fit you and expand as you grow, not limited to whatever generic connectors a shared cloud ships to everyone. Keep the systems you rely on; let TLM be the quality layer that ties them together.

Bring your systems into one working landscape.

QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)

Pull purchase orders, vendors, and items straight from QuickBooks — so purchasing stays in QuickBooks while your inspectors and quality records get what they need, with no re-keying.

ERP & MRP

Epicor Kinetic, NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica, Fishbowl and more — modern REST APIs mean parts, POs, and receipts flow into TLM without double entry.

Zoho One

The 40+ Zoho business apps — CRM, desk, finance, and more — connected alongside TLM into one working landscape.

CRM & customer data

Feed customer and account data into complaints, feedback, and CARs, so quality events carry the context they need.

MES & the shop floor

Production and manufacturing execution data flowing into inspections, nonconformance, and work orders.

Any SQL data source

If it lives in a database, TLM can read from it or write to it — the framework isn’t limited to a fixed list of partners.

ERP + a purpose-built QMS

Keep your ERP. Don’t settle for its quality module.

Most ERP “quality” capabilities are lighter modules bolted onto a transactional, inventory-first core. They can log an inspection or a material disposition — but they’re generally not built for the closed-loop, document- and process-centric quality a regulated company actually runs on. Industry analysts consistently find that companies relying on the ERP’s quality module alone end up with quality data disconnected from the rest of the business.

ERP quality module

  • Built around inventory & transactions
  • Inspection & material dispositions, lightly
  • Thin on CAPA, document control, training, audits
  • Rarely full 21 CFR Part 11 e-signatures
  • Little to no design control / DHF, FMEA, risk

TLM — purpose-built

  • Built around quality workflows, closed-loop
  • Full CAPA, controlled documents, training, audits
  • 21 CFR Part 11 electronic signatures & records
  • Design control, FMEA, control plans, risk
  • Integrated to your ERP — each does what it’s best at

The answer isn’t ERP or QMS. It’s your ERP for finance, materials, and planning — integrated with TLM as the quality system it was never designed to be.

Where it pays off

On your production floor.

Operations data is where integration earns its keep — and where the ERP-only shops feel the pain of double entry. TLM’s production modules are natural integration targets:

POs & packing slips → receiving inspections

Purchase-order and packing-slip data flows in and receiving inspections create themselves — matched to the right part and supplier, ready to pass or fail.

Parts & inventory, in sync

Keep the part master and inventory aligned with your ERP, so quality is working from the same list as the rest of the business.

Orders that carry quality

Purchase and sales orders connect to the inspections, nonconformance, and CARs they touch — the full thread, not islands.

Example integration & estimated timeline

How fast? Weeks, not months.

Picture a shop running QuickBooks Online. Every purchase order lives in QuickBooks — but the inspectors on the receiving dock can’t see it. They chase emails to find out what’s arriving and what to inspect, inspections slip, and supplier problems never make it into the record. Here’s how TLM closes that gap — one way, QuickBooks untouched — so a PO becomes a receiving inspection, a failed inspection becomes an NCR, and the outcome feeds the supplier’s evaluation.
1
Get the keys

The customer grants TLM read-only access to their QuickBooks Online — a standard, revocable authorization. We only read; nothing is written back.

2
Set up the sandbox

On a test copy of TLM we map QuickBooks PO fields — vendor, part, quantity, dates — to TLM’s parts, suppliers, and receiving inspections.

3
One-way pull

When a PO exists in QuickBooks, TLM knows about it — a receiving inspection is ready the moment material hits the dock.

4
Test until it’s boring

Real POs flow into the sandbox; we confirm inspections generate, fails raise NCRs, and results feed supplier evaluations.

5
Go live

Testing passes, we point it at production, and the inspectors stop chasing paper.

≈ one week A scope like this — a one-way pull, POs → receiving inspections feeding NCRs and supplier evaluations — is about a week’s work once we have access. Not a six-month ERP project. Broader scope (two-way sync, more objects) adds time — but the honest expectation is weeks, not months.
Onboarding & migration

Bring your data in — even from Greenlight Guru.

The biggest reason companies stay stuck on a system they’ve outgrown is the fear of moving. The same framework that connects your live systems also brings your history across — documents, records, and quality data scattered in spreadsheets, databases, or another eQMS. Switching from Greenlight Guru, MasterControl, or a home-grown system is a migration, not a restart.

2,104 records Not a promise — a track record. In a real field test, TLM moved 2,104 document records out of Greenlight Guru via its API, and that quality system went on to pass an external audit six months later. Switching off GLG isn’t just possible — it’s audit-defensible.

The TLM difference

Built to fit — because it’s yours.

On a shared multi-tenant platform you get the connectors the vendor built for everyone. On your own single-tenant server, the integration is built for you — and you decide when it changes.

TLM runs circles around one-size-fits-all competitors because our design follows one philosophy: the customer’s needs come first — not the vendor’s convenience.
