After the demo it was discovered that TLM had everything needed, but in order to fully meet all the needs of downstream users, a little extra functionality was still needed in the web app. So we applied the set up fee to this shared cost, delivered the changes in two weeks, and now the company has exactly what’s needed at an affordable price.
What You Need is
- The Best of Both worlds - Fully featured software for the Quality Manager and their team, as well as user friendly software for everyone so their participation makes your QMS world class!
- The Right Tool for the Job - different QMS tasks are often best served with either a highly featured interface, or a super simple one.
- No Surprises - All the modules are included, template documents are included, and so are all our validation documentation. No costs will ever be hidden or unexpected.
No Long Term Contracts
TLM is strictly pay as you go. Earning your business is a daily policy for us. Can you believe some of our competitors want a minimum 5 year contract?
Free Support
All Upstream users have unlimited access to TLM’s Technical support. This feature comes absolutely free as it is included with any TLM purchase.
Unlimited Downstream Web App Users
Total Lean Management (TLM) QMS software offers freedom from software licenses and unlimited user accounts to accommodate staff, vendors, consultants, or anyone else who needs to contribute to the QMS documentation effort.
Multiple Locations
We can approach multiple locations in two ways, either with completely separate databases, or with the location system setting feature so that user location assignments determine which records they see in TLM.

Pricing FAQs
What are the hidden costs I can expect to pay down the road?
We despise that pricing module as much as you do, so we have a strict “No-Surprises” pricing policy. All the modules, validation documents and QMS procedure templates re included if needed.
Your Account Representative will provide a generous amount of support and training during the initial implementation when upstream users are learning the software. If you need us to perform downstream user training, that can be scheduled for paid training sessions if needed. Although usually our support of your Upstream users gives them the capability to easily train downstream users as the web app is intentionally easy to use as downstream user features are limited to what they need so it’s not overly complicated.
How is training accomplished?
TLM uses conventions to make learning how to use TLM quick and easy. For example, once you learn the simple layout of Module – Search Screen – Tabbed Module screen in the main TLM application, this allows you to understand how all the modules work, as they are all designed to this simple navigation convention.
Otherwise your account representative will provide upstream users with the needed orientation and responses to specific implementation questions so that nobody is ever stuck when trying to get things set up. There are also free training videos at the TLM Training Center.
Who owns my data?
Is it HIPPA compliant?
If the system is validated, how are updates handled?
How long does it take to implement TLM?
The fastest implementation to date is one of our medical device customers who went from zero to ISO 13485 registration in 8 weeks using TLM. Implementation times will vary and are most dependent on all the decisions about your individual processes and getting what’s needed into your documented procedures. The software itself is available within 24 hours (often much sooner) and designed to configure as you go so you can focus on making rapid progress.
We highly recommend our 30 day trial option if TLM is at the top of your short list of options, as you can begin the implementation process risk free and experience it for yourself with data you can keep once you make your purchasing decision. Admittedly we can’t help being even more generous with our support, training, upload support, and recommendations during the 30-Day trial since it is all pre-sales. Combined with our highest value pricing guarantee, it’s impossible not to make a great decision that is both low risk and within budget once the 30-Day trial has expired.
A 60-day community trial is also available if you just want to poke around a little. This data is not owned by you, however.
Are users alerted automatically of assigned tasks?
Can my vendors access the system?
Yes, due to the unlimited licensing for the Web App you can add as many Non-Employees as you want and assign them whatever documents you want them to have access to and you can collect Read and Understood training signature records for them as well.
In addition, the CAPA module will allow you to send encrypted access to vendors for Containment, Root Cause, and Action Plan responses to corrective or preventive actions.
All without needing any additional licensing.
